We're engaged!!! Now its time to start planning our Disney Fairytale Wedding!

In order to have an Disney Intimate Wedding, you need to stay on site for at least 4 nights. So we called and made our reservations for the Polynesian Resort. We will stay there for 3 nights before the wedding and the wedding night. Then we will change resorts.

We also called Disney Fairytale Weddings (DFTW) to find out about booking our Wedding. They took alot of information from us, and said they would have someone call us back. Doreen called us back and let us know we could call 12 months out from our wedding date. She gave us her phone # to call her back.

We have finally decided where we will stay for the Honeymoon (or Disneymoon). The day after our wedding we are going to check out of the Polynesian Resort and check into the Beach Club Villas. We are renting Disney Vacation Club (DVC) points for this stay. We'll be in a one bedroom Villa. We are so excited about staying there, since it is our favorite Disney Resort!

We have come up with our "saying" for the wedding. SUNSETS & PIXIE DUST. We are going to try to come up with a logo to go along with this saying. It is so perfect for us. We are getting married at Sunset Point (at the Polynesian) and I've always gone around asking for and giving away "Pixie Dust".

We went to Orlando to visit with Ed's family this weekend. It was his Papa's birthday so we went to his place for a birthday party. Afterwards we went to see Disney's Princess on Ice!! Yes, Brandon went, and yes we didn't tell him it would be the Princess show. He enjoyed it anywas, because it had alot of different things going on, and alot of action during the shows.

On 9/10/06 we headed back home. We stopped off at Disney with hopes of getting some good shots of our wedding spot. And even better, we planned on asking Brandon to be our Best Man!! We took the boat from the TTC to the MK and then transferred onto a smaller boat going to the Poly. We got some good pictures today!! It started to get windy and cloudy really quick so we headed inside the Poly to find a place to eat.

While waiting for our food to be fixed, Ed sat next to Brandon and asked him to be our Best Man in the wedding.

Brandon looked so happy and proud. He shook Ed's hand and gave him a hug and said Yes!!

It was such a touching moment! We gave Brandon his gift...A Mickey Pen and calculator set. He loved it!!

Since we have to wait awhile to sign our contract with Disney, I've been thinking about other things. Like the Disneymoon. We thought of all the places we'd like to eat and all the things we'd like to do and see that week. I'm sure things will change, but it has been fun planning it out!!

We've also been thinking of questions to ask about our wedding when we call back to set our date.

Today was the day...we are ONE YEAR AWAY FROM OUR WEDDING!! Today was also the day we could call set our date with Disney! Ed called me on my cell phone at lunch, and we called and spoke with Doreen. The connection wasn't the best, but we were able to set things up.

She still had all our information from the last time we called, so she just verrifed it all. She said she would email us the contract to review, sign, and send back with the deposit by 11/17/06. 30 minutes later Ed had the contract!! So it is offical, we are getting married on November 3rd, 2007 at 2:30pm!!!

We recieved a copy of our Disney Contract back, signed and dated by Disney!! It is so neat to see our names on the paper with the offical Disney Fairytale Wedding logo!!

We received a DVD Demo from a videotographer we found. This couple seems really nice, they love Disney and Buccaneers Football!! Woo Hoo. It was great to sit back and watch the Demo.

We received a voice mail from Tanis, our wedding planner today!! She sounded so nice. She just wanted to say hello and that she was happy to be working with us. She let me know that she has our Disney Magic Kingdom Bridal photo shoot set up for the day after the wedding at 6am!! We get to have pictures in our Wedding Attire in and around Cinderella's Castle! Yeah!!!

We have our wedding monogram done now. We are so excited about that. We love it!!!

Here are some Hair Inspirations that I have found. I want to wear my hair half up and half down, with curls in it. I will be wearing a tiara and veil.

Of course, I will have bangs....I can't wair my hair without bangs in the front!

We picked our our "Color" finally. PURPLE of course! With an intimate wedding, there is not much to use colors on. I really wanted purple roses, so this is how we came up with the color for the wedding.

We picked out our wedding bands this weekend. Ed is getting one that matches mine perfectly!

Ed started his new job this month. (with the same company as me!) Now we actually have nights and weekends off together!! WOO HOO!!!

I have my wedding dress!!!!! Mom and I went shopping and it was the first dress I tried on!! I tried two others on and we just knew the first one was it. It was great having mom there!! I got everything (except jewelry) there! The slip, undergarments, the tiara!! I was very nervous about wedding dress shopping and had been putting it off for awhile now. The dress fit, and I got to take it home that day!!!!!!!!!!

I was able to book my hair and make up for the wedding day, and the day after the wedding for the Magic Kingdom Bridal photo shoot!!

We called Disney today to make all our ADR (advanced diningn reservations) for our pre wedding, wedding dinner and Disneymoon!! The CM I talked to was sooo nice!! She really made the experince even better. She was very excited for us that we were getting married at Disney and said it was great we'd have that extra Disney magic at our wedding!!

We've been working on our wedding planning worksheet for Disney, and almost have it complete. Still trying to decide on colors for the flowers. (PINK OR PURPLE????) We've got to come up with music for the wedding and cake cutting ceremony. And find a officiant for our wedding!! All the family rooms are booked!!

6 months to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have been working on more wedding things this weekend!! Ed put in some orders for our gift bags for the guests. We're also going shopping today to pick up a few things for the gift bags. We hope to get most of the things for the bags done this month!!

We finally contacted someone to marry us, Rev. Knox from orlando. We hope he is available for our date and time.

Today is Mothers day, and Ed and Brandon served me breakfast in bed. Dunkin Donuts Bagels! Yummy!!

There have been alot of changes in the past few months!! We have changed all our wedding plans. We are now having a double wedding with my sister and her fiance. Our new wedding date is August 18th!! We are getting married at my parents new house. It is so beautiful there!

We have also moved from Florida. In a matter of weeks we have moved, changed our wedding around and Brandon has started school.

Thanks to Amanda and Michael, who had already moved, most of our wedding details are taken care of. We have a caterer, florist, video and photographer all set up. We went for hair trials the other day. I was pretty happy with the way mine turned out but Amanda was not. The only think left to do right now is take care of the house, inside and out.

Even though our wedding location and date has changed, we are still so happy to be marrying each other!!
